Simple forms such as the popular song, commercial jingles, and folk music are explored. Students will learn to read the music staff at the keyboard in both treble and bass clef with ease and understanding. They will play and transpose elementary two-hand pieces in all major keys. At least a half an hour a day of regular practice at the keyboard is strongly recommended.
